Turning On and Off Search Engine Visibility in WordPress

Log in to your WordPress admin panel.

  1. Go to Settings > Reading.
  2. Find the Search Engine Visibility section.
  3. Check the box next to “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” to turn off search engine visibility
  4. Uncheck the box if you want to turn on search engine visibility.
  5. Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
